I have been a full time Realtor with CENTURY 21 Access America since May of 1999. I have successfully participated in hundreds of real estate transactions including Single & Multi family homes, Fine Homes & Estates, Waterfront, 2nd Homes, Vacation Homes, Investment properties, 203k Rehabs, Land Sales & Development, 1031 Tax Exchange Properties, Commercial Office Buildings, Condo Conversion Projects and Relocation purchases.

Since 2000 I have achieved Award Winning Status within the International CENTURY 21 Real Estate Company. Being awarded the Centurion Award in 2003 has been one of my outstanding achievements along with being the #1 Realtor in Newport County for total units sold in that year (69 sales) and the #1 in RI for CENTURY 21. Shortly after this achievement, my daughter Stephanie joined me in real estate and together, we have been a successful and productive team, ranking #4 in RI and 14th in Central New England for CENTURY 21. Stephanie has gone on to practice real estate in another venture and now I am as busy as ever. Since 2001 I have been the assistant to David Lawrence, Owner and Regional President of CENTURY 21 Access America, Dave and I, as well as all of the REALTORS at C21 Access America, make a powerful team!
I have earned the ABR (Accredited Buyers Agent), SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), the CHMS (Certified Homes Marketing Specialist) designations. I am currently working towards my Luxury Home Marketing designation after attending a two day class in Houston, Texas, this past June 2008. I also participated in a 1 day seminar on Real Estate Development. This class involved all facets of developing land, including design, laws, zoning, LMI, appraisals and much more. Most recently, a foreclosure and short sale class has given me the tools to handle distressed properties.
Classes in Marketing, Fine Homes & Estates, Financing, Qualifying Buyers, 1031 Tax Exchange, Commercial Real Estate Practice, Zoning, Historical Homes, Agency, Ethics, Lead Paint & more contribute to our ever changing real estate world. Attending education & training seminars quarterly with Bottom Line University founder Ralph Williams since 2001 has kept me current with these changing real estate trends and taught me new ways to adapt to them. Attending and participating in the CENTURY 21 International Conventions for the past 6 years has broadened my horizons and help sharpen my skills.
I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, the Newport County Board of Realtors, the Real Estate Buyer’s Agency Council, the Senior Real Estate Council and the Luxury Home Marketing Institute.

I am a past CCD teacher and have been for many years at St. Barnabas Church in Portsmouth. I have recently become involved with Boy’s Town in Portsmouth, RI
I was Treasurer and a founding member of Island Investment, and investment group for woman.
I love to read, and have been a member of a neighborhood woman’s book club since 1999.
I graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
I was previously employed for over 15 years at McKone, Morris & Co, CPA. a local Professional Accounting and Financial Planning Firm.
I am a native Rhode Islander, and have lived in Newport County since 1978.
